“Anti-Semitism is a Huge Menace” – The Netherlands Chief Rabbi – Emerson Vermaat, Exclusive to ACD – “The growing wave of anti-Semitism in Holland forces Jews to be careful and hide any symbol that would give away their identity.” “I don’t think anti-Semitism is growing in the Netherlands. It is just getting more visible now on a daily basis. Twenty or forty years ago it never happened that people call me ‘a dirty Jew,’ but today it’s normal, it happens frequently. It’s not safe for me to take the train, especially in the evening,” says Chief Rabbi Binyomin Jacobs, in this exclusive interview. “It’s too easy to put the blame on Muslim immigrants only, but I believe that native Dutch people are also susceptible to anti-Semitism.” The Rabbi noted that people from the region surrounding the Mediterranean Sea, such as Moroccans and Tunisians are more spontaneous in their behavior and expressions…more…
Obama’s Deal With Iran – Rachel Ehrenfeld – The Obama administration’s efforts to advancing a deal with Iran resembles final rehearsals before the raising of the curtain on the ultimate theater of the absurd. If Obama gets his way, Americans will be forced to pay with their taxes to watch how the much talked about on-again, off-again secret negotiations will lead to enriched uranium, enough to arm as many ballistic missiles as Iran would like. This will happen while Iranian terrorist activities and influence will increase in the Middle East and beyond. It is doubtful that turning Iran into a nuclear power, thus turning the world into a much more dangerous place, was not the “change” most Obama voters had hopped for. Obama’s aspirations to go to Tehran has been made clear when he made his first inaugural speech in January 2009, announcing his “willingness to open contacts with Iran.” But…more…
The Embryonic Palestinian State – A Monster in the Ultra-Sound – Daphne Netanyahu – As of now, in Judea, Samaria and Gaza there is a sort of embryonic state, or “Arab state in progress”. And just as with pregnancy, it is possible, with ultrasound, to see the embryo’s organs and know generally, what shape the fetus will be when it is born, it is so when speaking of a country as well. This embryonic state carries out – in schools, in mosques and in the media – brainwashing on an entire generation. It puts into the heads of its youth the idea that “there is no solution to the Palestinian problem other than by means of “jihad.” If a Palestinian state is born, it will have control over its borders, and nobody would be able to prevent this over the course of time. …more…
The Egyptian Bet – Sol W. Sanders – Any hope for an exit from the current Middle East chaos lies with the efforts of Gen. Pres. Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to stabilize its politics and rebuild the Egyptian economy. With its 90 million people and traditional role as the intellectual leader of the Sunni Arab world, el-Sisi’s efforts to move out of the collapse of four years ago is critical not only for his own country but for the region as a whole. There is general acknowledgement in the area of Egypt’s overwhelming importance and leadership – except in the pro-Iranian elements dominant in Damascus, Lebanon-Hezbollah, Gaza-Hamas, and Yemen-Houthi, and increasingly in Baghdad. Egypt’s importance brought thirty country leaders, dozens of financial companies– …more…
