Trudeau calls Brunei’s “Shariah” Islamic Law “cruel and inhumane”

On the Left, Trudeau is seen wearing traditional Islamic clothing as he delivers a speech that he begins with the Muslim greeting. (YouTube video).

On March 24, 2017, “The Canadian parliament has passed a landmark

anti-Islamophobia and religious discrimination motion that calls on politicians to condemn anti-Islamic behaviour and rhetoric.”Yet, on April 5, 2019 Canada’s prime minister, Justin Trudeau, tweeted the following statement :Canadians are appalled by Brunei’s new penal code that will target women, the LGBTQ2 community & other minority groups, and we condemn their decision. Canada will always defend human rights around the world, and we’re urging Brunei to repeal this cruel & inhumane law.”

The “inhumane law” Trudeau was referring to is Shari’a (islamic law).

rudeau’s tweet included reference to a tweet by Global Affairs Canada, Canada’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, that reads:

Would Trudeau’s “Islamophobic” statement affect his popularity among his Canadian Muslims? Are they going to launch demonstrations against him? How would his new-found Islamophobia affect his re-election campgain
