(03:23-05:38)
Today we have left out of this core element, which is the element of brotherhood and sisterhood. The day the Ummah [Muslim nation أمه] has left this core critical crucial element which is brotherhood [الإخوة] faith [ايمان] brotherhood, sisterhood. This is why I believe we see this segregation, isolation happens against the Ummah today.
In fact let me share we you some statistics. In the GTA alone, in the GTA, Toronto GTA alone, 13-14 cases right now, 13-14 cases in the court happening, Muslims suing one another, not any Muslims, Muslim, Islamic institutions organizations suing one another. All appointing lawyers. Who are these lawyers? Jews. And who is the judge? A Jew as well. Who is paying for these lawyers? You and I.
I’ve just travelled to Winnipeg not too long ago, a couple of weeks ago, a small community, one Islamic institution, in that Islamic institution they spent over $19,000 lawyers fees suing one another.
In another masjid [mosque مسجد] not too long ago, the Imam came in and he found a siege. The masjid went under a siege, tribes problems. We bring our old tribal problems from back home into this culture. So, what’s happening? The Imam is being sued not to coming to the masjid. $400,000 spent lawyers’ fees and legal fees just mere problematic tribal issues. Muslims against Muslims.”
(06:30-07:14)
This is why I want to focus on this element brotherhood in Allah [الأخوة في الله] brotherhood. Where is it? What happened to us nowadays? What happened to this brotherhood, sisterhood, my brother in Allah [أخي في الله].
I want to talk about the rights of one another. We have rights. Right of brotherhood and sisterhood. I have a rights upon you. You have rights upon me. We have rights upon one another. What are these rights of brotherhood? إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ Allah Exalted and Glorified be He said in the [Quranic] chapter [Surah] The Chambers [سورة الحجرات] [that] the believers are the brothers [إِنَّمَا الْمُؤْمِنُونَ إِخْوَةٌ].”
(08:11-09:34)
As Muslims, if you are looking for a lawyer, you say that I don’t want to deal with a Muslim lawyer. If you look for mechanic, I don’t want to deal with Muslim mechanic. If you want to deal with a doctor, I don’t want to [deal with a Muslim doctor], why? Why are we away from Muslims?
Someone has just sent me an email yesterday, just yesterday. They wanted to deal with a mortgage, an Islamic mortgage, came to them a guy, a Muslim, a representative who went, may Allah forgive him and giving them an approval from where? These are some of the people who want to do something Islamic, I know that he go to a bank and gave a very great mortgage rate, but with interest. So they chose to do something Islamic, comes this representative who went, deceived them and got them an approval, from where? From a National Bank. The same people went to this National Bank because very low percentage. They say, O brother [يا اخي] we try to deal with you because you are a Muslim, and you’re deceiving us. What is happening to our Ummah today? And this is why I want to talk about this very very sensitive issue – brotherhood, sisterhood.
