In recent years Muslims clerics were documented reciting prayers about the future killing of Jews by the Muslim believers.

At a Friday sermon delivered at the Al-Faruq Mosque in Copenhagen, Denmark, imam Mundhir Abdallah said:
“(Soon there will be) a Caliphate, which will instate the shari’a of Allah and revive the Sunna of His Prophet, which will wage Jihad for the sake of Allah, which will unite the Islamic nation after it disintegrated, and which will liberate the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the filth of the Zionists, so that the words of the Prophet Muhammad will be fulfilled: ‘Judgement Day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews and kill them. The Jews will hide behind the rocks and the trees, but the rocks and the trees will say: ‘Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him.’ The rightly-guided state, which will instate the shari’a of Allah, will unite the servants of Allah, will revive the Islamic nation, will wage Jihad against its enemies, will liberate Jerusalem, and will uproot the Jewish entity, that colonialist and Crusader base – that rightly-guided state will soon come to be, Allah willing.”
In an address streamed live on Facebook on July 23, 2017 Copenhagen Imam Mundhir Abdallah said:
“The crusaders – the Americans, the French, the British, and the Russians – have imposed upon the beloved, proud, and blessed Levant, which is the heart of Islam… They have imposed the most despicable of people upon it – ‘the people strongest in enmity towards the believers’… The Jews – that gang – are doing themselves a disservice. By Allah, they are hastening their own annihilation, by their rampaging, their filth, and their vileness, which reflect the immutable nature of the Jews. Their nature has nothing to do with genes, of course. It has to do with the Jewish character and psyche, with that sick Jewish mentality… By their deeds in Palestine, the Jews are only hastening their annihilation. The Jews are etching upon the memories of the Muslims such fierce hatred of them – hatred that will bring their entity in Palestine to an unforgettable end… The final solution to the problem of the Levant – after the establishment of the Caliphate and the elimination of the Jewish entity – will be through the conquest of Europe.”
In July 2018, Imam Mundhir Abdallah was charged with, among other things, having welcomed the killing of Jews in March of last year. Excerpts from Mundhir Abdallah’s clarifying statement: “The Friday sermon that I delivered on March 31, 2017 from this very pulpit was about the Arab League Summit that convened at the Dead Sea, in Jordan… My sermon was not about a sect or a people called ‘the Jews.’ The sermon was about an occupied land called Palestine, and about people who occupied that land, with the help and sponsorship of the West… I made it clear that the solution to our problems as Muslims, and the problem of Palestine, is the establishment of the Islamic State, the Caliphate… The Caliphate will fight our enemy and will liberate Palestine, Allah willing, and will eliminate that colonialist state of Israel. That means war. That means war, war in the occupied Palestine – in Jaffa, in Haifa, and in Akko, as well as in the West Bank.”
In a sermon at the Mosquée Ennour in Toulouse, Franceon December 15, 2017 Imam Mohamed Tatai, formerly imam of the mosque and now Imam of the new Grand Mosque of Toulouse, said:
“[The Prophet Muhammad] told us about the final and decisive battle: ‘Judgement Day will not come until the Muslims fight the Jews. The Jews will hide behind the stones and the trees, and the stones and the trees will say: Oh Muslim, oh servant of Allah, there is a Jew hiding behind me, come and kill him – except for the Gharqad tree, which is one of the trees of the Jews.’ This hadith was narrated by Imam Muslim. The Christians and the Jews also believe these prophecies.”
Excerpts from Mohamed Tatai’s clarifying statement: “Those who heard what they heard from others, not from us, those who heard the distortion and falsification of the words of the Prophet, words that were taken out of context – we apologize to them if this offended them.”
In a Friday sermon delivered at Al-Nour Mosque in Berlin on July 18, 2014 (during Gaza war) Berlin Imam Abu Bilal Ismail said:
“Oh Allah, destroy the Zionist Jews. They are no challenge for you. Count them and kill them to the very last one. Don’t spare a single one of them. Shake the ground beneath their feet. Make them suffer terribly. Deflect their bullets. Disperse them. They behave tyrannically all over the world and spread corruption. Oh Lord, bring torment upon them.”
An excerpt from Abu Bilal Ismail’s statement: “I don’t mean that all Jews should die. Only those Jews who have killed people in Gaza. I prayed for God to destroy those Jews who kill us. It’s not all Jews, because I know Jews who are good toward us.”
