Most glaring is how the U.S. Administration is handling the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and elsewhere. The Brothers are pursuing disinformation in a highly unsophisticated manner, and don’t even take care not to contradict themselves. Top Brotherhood officials use Western vocabulary, suggesting that they are just like others who want freedom, democracy, the rule of law, respect for human rights, tolerance and the like. At the same time, they juxtapose Shari’a to Western values and aim for the new Caliphate. That, we ignore.
