In support of its relations with international institutions, a delegation the Charitable Association For Palestinian Relief visits Islamic Relief Worldwide in Gaza
On Tuesday, April 17, 2012 a delegation of the Charitable Association For Palestinian Relief [CAPR] in Gaza (الهيئة الخيرية لإغاثة الشعب الفلسطيني) met with the engineer Munib Abu Ghazalah (منيب أبو غزالة), the Director of the Gaza Office of Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW).
This [meeting] was held during the visit of the delegation to IRW’s office in the [Gaza] Strip. In the meeting the two sides discussed ways to enhance the relationship and cooperation between them [CAPR and IRW].
Dr. Omar Shalah (عمر شلح), CAPR’s Director in the [Gaza] Strip, reviewed the latest developments in CAPR emphasizing the deep relationship between the two sides [CAPR and IRW], the positive relationship that connects CAPR to its social and institutional surroundings and its goal to enhance and strengthen its ties with various institutions that strive to build the society and the homeland.
Dr. Omar [Shalah] also provided a detailed explanation of the nature of the work done by CAPR in the [Gaza] Strip and its variety of activities while stressing CAPR’s keenness to build strong relations with civil society institutions.
For his part, Dr. Munib Abu Ghazalah welcomed CAPR’s delegation, expressed his happiness with this visit, and stressed the keenness of IRW to develop a special relationship that will connect it to all Palestinians.
He also briefed the delegation on the latest developments, the programs IRW plans to carry out and sponsor in the Gaza Strip, and the benefit of these programs for the Palestinian society while emphasizing the humanitarian and social aspects of IRW, the goals it [IRW] is trying to achieve and the enhancement of its message through providing humanitarian aid to the children and institutions in the Gaza Strip.
At the end of the meeting, everyone agreed to strengthen relations between the two institutions [CAPR and IRW] in the service of the Palestinian people.

In May 2014, a delegation of the Charitable Association For Palestinian Relief (CAPR) attended the international conference for the liberation of al-Aqsa Mosque that took place in Malaysia. The delegation included: Khalid Abu Samarah, CAPR President, Omar Shalah, Head of CAPR Gaza Office and Hisham Musa, CAPR representative in Malaysia. In his speech at the conference, Khalid Abu Samarah emphasized that duty upon all Muslims to carry out the jihad to liberate al-Aqsa Mosque. (link, archive)
