In its news report on October 11, 2018 CBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, left out the name of a black teacher who was charged with sexual assault of a student in spite of Police’s statement that did not rule out other victims and urged the public to provide “new information connected with this investigation.”

An elementary school teacher in Ajax has been charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old student. Krystal WILSON, also known by students as Krystal CLUNIS, age 31, of Whitby, who is currently a teacher at Roland Michner Public School on Ritchie Avenue in Ajax, has been charged with two counts of Sexual Assault and two counts of Sexual Interference, all of which involve a male student. She was held for a bail hearing. It is alleged the teacher sexually assaulted the student while she was working at Da Vinci Public School in Ajax during the 2017 to 2018 school year. She also worked at Vincent Massey Public School and Dr. SJ Phillips in Oshawa.Investigators want to ensure there are no other victims. A 31-year-old teacher is facing multiple charges in relation to alleged sexual assaults involving a 10-year-old student. Durham Regional Police allege the incidents took place during the last school year at Da Vinci Public School in Ajax, Ont. They say the teacher has also taught at three other schools in the Durham Region. Police say the woman is facing two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference — all of which involve a 10-year-old boy. She has been held in custody for a bail hearing. Police say they want to ensure there are no other alleged victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
