The Islamic pro-Caliphate organization Hizb ut-Tahrir Canada held its Annual Khilafahh [Caliphate, Islamic State] Conference on March 16, 2019 at L.C. Taylor Room at the Mississauga Valley Community Centre, in Mississauga, Ontario. It is the City of Mississauga’s largest Community Centre.
The speakers at Hizb ut-Tahrir’s Annual Khilafahh [Caliphate, Islamic State] Conference were asked to discuss the following issues: “Time to show complete Tawakkul [reliance] in Allah”, “Nationalism: Should Muslims embrace it?” and “Populism and the Threat of Integration.”
In his speech at the event, Mazin AbdulAdhim, a prominent Canadian Muslim scholar affiliated with Hizb ut-Tahrir Canada (based in London, ON), said:
The Muslims are one nation to the exclusion of all others. This does not mean that the others don’t get rights, but it has to do with the concept of one ‘Ummah‘ (Muslim nation), that everywhere in the world. That’s why when we see what happens in New Zealand [Christchurch mosque shootings on March 15, 2019], you’ve hundreds of thousands of Muslims all around the world praying ‘janaza’ (funeral service) for them. You have all the Muslims of the world connecting, what’s happening there… But wherever we are in the world our loyalty is back to the central concept of one one ‘Ummah‘ (Muslim nation). Our loyalty is to the ‘Khilafah‘ (Caliphate or Islamic State) if it exists and to the ‘Khilafah‘ (Caliphate or Islamic State) if it doesn’t exist. Our vision of what the ‘Khilafah‘ (Caliphate or Islamic State) is and what we are working towards remains and it’s going to be re-established ‘inshallah’ [Allah Willing] ,and our loyalty must remain with it whether it’s present or absent, because this is only thing we are allowed to have loyalty towards, the full implementation of Islam.

Come discuss and understand why nothing on this earth can or will protect us except a Khilafah [Caliphate or Islamic State] that will give Muslims a safe place to live, and will pressure foreign governments and foreign media to eliminate all anti-Islam and anti-Muslim propaganda from their politics and pop culture.
Do we expect any governments around the world – including our own cowardly treacherous governments – to go on any global solidarity marches like they did with Charlie Hebdo [Al-Qaeda’s attack in Paris on January 7, 2015]?
You won’t even find a silly little “pray for New Zealand” [Christchurch mosque shootings on March 15, 2019] profile picture thing on Facebook. This is Muslim blood we are speaking about here. It is worth less than the blood of animals in the world today.
Come and understand why the Khilafahh [Caliphate or Islamic State] is the solution for all the problems we face, whether it’s the disaster we face today or the disasters we will inevitably face tomorrow.
